the 3 pronged screwdriver has been around a long time. The screws were common in pre-recorded video tapes (Disney tapes mainly).

There is a screwdriver bit that fits most magnetic drivers its called a Triwing and it looks like a Phillips bit but only has three blades. It used to be available from Snap-on tools but I dont know if they still list it.

There are. Usually these are used on security screws. Screws that are used on something that you don't want someone getting into with the everyday screwdrivers. A lot of tools have these also
