any one have any inventions from 1920's or 30's and i found penicillian, bt what did that do. any websites?

In medicine, the first major achievement in this period was the discovery of insulin to treat diabetes, by the Canadians Banting and Best. It was a huge lifesaver for a very common and usually fatal disease. Penicillin was just as important, but it really belongs to the 1940's.

In technology, the advancement with the greatest effect on human life was without any doubt whatever the introduction of radio broadcasting from about 1924 onwards. I have been fortunate enough to know a few people who were born before 1910, and they have all said that being able to listen to radio programmes from overseas had a bigger impact on them, and on the way they thought about things, than any other technical change of the century, whether in transport, consumer goods, or anything else.

Ever hear of the Hubble Telescope? It was named after a scientist called "Edwin Powell Hubble". Between 1920 and 1930, this gentleman made quite a remarkable contribution to science and mankind. Here is an interesting website that tells of that advance:

Budget some time for this very interesting exercise, please! Get the book (s) Great Lives and Great Inventions, select from the book great scientists and inventors 1920's-1930's. You have all you need for your paper in your selection! Things like Aeroplane (Wright Brothers), Penicillin (Alexander Fleming), the forerunner of some great medicines, antibiotic.
