Yes, if for no other reason than for the PROVEN medical benefits. Or maybe the fact that the hemp seed actually has more proteins than soy.
Or to keep our politicians from pandering to the pharmacutical lobbiests. (Maybe Bush will sell off his shares of Libby stock!) Just think, Prozac, Xanax and Valium sales would plummet!
If for no other reason - think of how much they'd tax it and maybe give us cigarette smokers a break!

The thing is, marijuana became legal for medicinal purposes and already there are people who found a doctor who would prescribe for a certain fee. If it really does help those who genuinely need it (not those that want it for the joy ride), then sure, its a good thing. Otherwise, NO!

if the elimination of gangs and mafia is a good thing, then yes.
if generating massive tax revenue is a good thing, then yes.
if regulating and restricting the sale to only those of legal age is a good thing, then yes.
