We downloaded IE 7 and had major problems with our computer freezing up and programs not working. We had to restore our computer to a previous date in order to get rid of it.

I installed Internet explorer 7, and didn't like it either. I removed it from my Add AND Removed Programs, and my browser went back to IE 6.
Then I read more carefully about IE 7, and found that downloads were available to help IE 7 be more compatible with sites that relate with IE 6. I downloaded this and then re-downloaded IE 7. It worked much better.
Then I found that yahoo had a IE 7 download, so I downloaded that also.
I haven't had any problems since. (knock on wood!!!)

For your question, you can uninstall IE7 in control panel. It seems many people have problems have IE7, i havent have a problem with IE7 since i upgraded...for my opinion IE is better than firefox, firefox doesnt support alot of features
