the imigration or ''la migra'' dont really check if u have papers or imigrants in ur trunk! theyr so stupid! i think its their fault that ppl can get in so easily into the U.S.....

I think it's people's fault, but you're right, they don't really always check.

Hmmm...I think they do check the trunk of a car if they have reason to. At the San Ysidro border, I believe they do check but there is a border more north of San Diego that they simply just look into cars. I'm thinking they have a bulletin of certain cars that could fit the "sneak in an immigrant" profile - so those I've seen pulled over to the side of the road. So, you're right, this particular border just slows the cars down and do not ask for ID or check trunks unless they feel it necessary.

They go by instincts...same as air ports and all security...if you look or acting weird...be prepared to get stopped...not everyone looks criminal
