Im getting my wisdom teeth out in two days (i am getting put to sleep for it)

(I asked this in this section to see if any of you had experience on this) thanks...

If you are having general anesthesia (dental surgery is usually done with IV sedation) then there are serious risks as your lungs need to be strong and in good condition to tolerate the anesthesia. For dental surgery the only risk might be one of spreading infection. Asking the destist (or oral surgeon) would be the best idea but my guess is it won't matter as long as it'a only a cold with no fever.

I tried to go to surgery and I had a cold.

They cancelled said no way, because I had asthma, and bad coughing problems. The doctors want you to be healthy and in stable condition BEFORE you go to surgery. Ask questions to make sure.

call ur dentist and tell them and depending how bad the cold is he might postpone or maybe just put u on some medicine for preventive measure

Most of the time it depends on how bad it is...if you can't breath through the nose I would postpone it....
