Their early stuff was ok, they are no Ramones. They aren't real punk rock, but you kids think it's close.

Nope hate them. They are an excuse for posers to say they like rock when they are more like a pop band. I don't know what they were before cuz I am 14. I hate trying to make conversation when it's about music. Especially if the other person says they like rock and say that their favorite band is Green Day, Simple Plan, or something like that.

They were the first "rock" band I ever got into...back in the early nineties, going to high school, I listened to a lot of R&B and Rap garbage, then they came along and I fell in love, lol...after that came a fondness for Alice in Chains, Weezer, Stone Temple Pilots and the rest is history...so yeah I loved their first major label album, and the others I have heard were also good but I havent gotten into their new stuff as much (though I liked a few off of Warning)

They used to be good before they sold out.
On their earlier CD's just about every song was a keeper. Now they're lucky if one or two songs are worth a damn. I guess that happens to a lot of bands after a while, sadly...

Yes definetly. Their songs are very good. Old are better but new ones are good to. Songs sometimes talk about current life like wake me up when september ends, or more ROCK OUT LOUD songs like american idiot or my personal favorite HOLIDAY. holiday gives me feeling that i can do alot of things.

They were ok before Dookie but after that it was too commercial.I like Goldfinger and Social Distortion much more
