i have downloaded (avg ) but doesn't show on my dest top

If you downloaded AVG, it puts an exe file on your computer. You have to go and double click that file to actually install the program. Once installed, you will have an icon that looks like a little quilt down near the clock.

Go back to the site where you downloaded it, go through the motions of downloading it and when it asks you to save the file, see what location it wil be downloaded to on your computer. (Desktop, My Documents, etc.)

Go to the control panel to add and remove programs should be in there if its on your pc.....mine is

It might be in your, My documents file....
