I am to embarresed to ask for a bra but my sual answer is "just do it" but i can't. What do i do?

You are a girl, right? Just visit a store and go with the measurement around your chest. Try on bras with that measurement and take with you into the dressing room, various cup sizes. The smaller sizes start with A, and go up in size with B's, C's etc. There are bras for young women that are called beginning bra's or something like that. Look around. No one cares in a large store. They don't have an abundance of clerks, unless you want to talk to someone and then they can help you. Forget about being embarrassed. You have to face that your entire life, so just get to the store and ignore everyone else.

Hmm, so you're young.. and looking for a way to ask for your first bra, correct?
Don't worry.. Most young women get extremely embarrassed when it comes to things like buying bras, tampons, etc. This feeling will eventually fade out.. once you relise that this is something ALL women have gone through. It's completely normal, don't worry.
Try breaking the ice with your parents, with something like this. "Hey mom/dad, can I get a sports bra for gym class? They want us to change clothes in the locker room, and I need something to cover up with". Or, just go shopping with another female. Usually, it's a lot easier to talk to an older sister, or a cool aunt.. than it would be talking to your mom.
And don't worry.. Every woman has gone through this phase at one time or another. Don't be embarrassed! (Same thing probably happened to your mother, too.)

when i first wanted a bra i was embarrassed too.. but then i just asked my mom to take me bra shopping and she did. I'm sure your mom will understand because she went through the same thing at some piont.

I am assuming that you need to ask your mom or dad when you ask this. Write a note and give it to them and state in the note that you do not want to be teased. Do not be afraid to ask and do not be worried about all this. You are going through natural changes and everything will be just fine.

Write a note to whomever is in charge of those things in your life. Or you can just ask for money and take a bus to go get it for yourself. Whatever is most comfortable for you. what is there to be embarassed of? growing is a part of life....just tell whoever (mom, aunt, grandma) that u feel tht its the time for a bra and u guyz could make a shopping trip to the mall and have fun!!

if you have an older sister, maybe you can ask her to tell your mom. if not, then just go up to your mom sometime, start talking, and casually mention how you would like a bra. if she doesn't get it, then just ask her directly. good luck!

i had the same problem when i was younger...but i got up the courage to ask my mom and she said i could...its definatly worth asking...trust me...what you could do is go shopping with your mom ... (dont ask to go shopping)... but when your there try to find the right time to ask... maybe when your mom is looking for bras...im sure you'll be fine...good luck...hope i helped and how old r u....i got my first one when i was in 3rd grade...

Maybe get a close friends to buy you one and pay them back. Or casualy be walking through a store and pick one up and say "ohh my friends blank has this its cute" and then be like can I have one??
