A cheetah can go up to about 70 MPH, but cheetahs are sprinters, not cross-country racers. They can go at this speed for a short amount of time only. Due to the wind speed and certain variables, they may go slower and for a shorter amount of time.

Only another cheetah would know who is the fastest. We can only measure the odd cheetah over the savannas. You get a really indolent cheetah and let a grenade off behind it. When that happened to me I certainly moved fast.

The fastest cat, the cheetah, is also the fastest land animal. It can reach 95 km/h (60 mph) over short distances. Unlike other big cats it does not roar - it makes high pitched yelps, barks and chirruping sounds. And like your kitty, it does purr.

well I think it would get tired well before running a whole hour..... but at top speed they can run about 60 m/p/h but so can a ostridge
but they can only run for a short time... so for the rest of the hour they would sleep
