A bill is debated upon in the House and it must pass through three readings. 2/3 votes of the members must vote to make a law.

The common procedure is that it will be hidden in the archive until nobody remembers anymore!
We would be a very happy nation, if only all the bills filed in the House, that could have made our lives better, would have been acted on!

The House votes on it. I believe it requires a simple majority. After that it goes the the Senate, then the President.
