Factor out 2 in the numerator.

2(3x - 5)/5 - 3x

Multiply the denominator by -1 and then rearrange the denominator.

We have:

-1 TIMES each term inside the parentheses (5-3x).

Doing this we get:

-5 + 3x

NOTICE: +3x = 3x.

We rerrange the denominator.

We NOW have this in the denominator: 3x - 5.

Let's go back to the top.

2(3x-5)/3x-5

We can CANCEL 3x-5 in the numerator and denominator.

Doing that we get 2 as the answer.

Factor out a 2 from the top: 2(3x-5)/(5-3x)

Since 3x-5 is the opposite of 5-3x, they cancel leaving -1 on top and 1 on bottom. So the answer is 2(-1)/1 or -2.

(assuming x is not 5/3 which would cause the denominator to be zero)

Reduce the 10/5 to 2 so you get 6x-2-3x. Now combine the like terms to get 3x-2

factor a 2 out of the top, so you have 2(3x-5)/(-3x+5). the 3x-5 and the -3x-5 cancel to -1, so your final answer should b (-1)(2) or -2

It depends which part is over 5. If it was only the -10, then you could simplify that to -2, and solve it like this.

6x-2-3x
3x-2

But if this whole thing was over 5, would change -3x to have a common demoniator which would make it -15x/5. Then, you would solve it like this:

6x-10-15x/5 (all over 5)=
-9x-10/5 (again, all over 5)

I hope I helped!!!

(6x -10)/(5 - 3x)
= 2(3x - 5)/(-1(3x - 5))
= 2/(-1)
= -2

Actually without the parentheses
6x -10/5 - 3x
= 6x - 2 - 3x
= 3x -2

(6x - 10)/(5 - 3x)
(2(3x - 5))/(-3x + 5)
(2(3x - 5))/(-(3x + 5))

ANS : -2

rearrange it and you get, 6x-3x-10/5
so u do your maths and you get 3x-10/5= 3x-2
depending on what x is, you get the answer :P
