You probably won't get it back. Call your cell phone provider to report it lost/stolen. They will hotline it so no more calls can be made. If you have insurance on it they will tell you how to get another one. If you have a contract for service yiu will have to complete the contract or pay a cancellation fee. Your cell phone company will tell your that. You may just have to buy another phone. Used phones are available on ebay but be sure that it works on the service you currently have. For example, if you have Cingular service you can't get a Verizon phone you can only get a Cingular phone; TMobile has to use Tmobile, etc. Only purchase from a reputable source with a minimum 15 day return policy in the event it's not compatable.

if the phone is really expensive and as said you are worried about loosing it or you are afraid it might get stolen, you can spend a little more money to ensure it is always with you. There is a device availablee in the near electrical stores which have two parts. One stays with your watch or as a wrist band and another attached with the cell phone. The mechanism is pretty simple if the two device is more that a two feet away from each other it starts beeping. I cant remember the brand name but if you explain this to the electrical store staff they will be able to tell you exactly what you need. Hope it helps. And also, try to be careful more.

Well it won't be much use to the finder. Try placing an ad and offer a small reward. Or just say, reward in the ad and give them what you can afford. Try putting up a few flyers in the area you think you lost it.
Hindsight is always 20/20, but next time take out the insurance. It is well worth it.
Good luck. Hope you get it back.

i hope you have insurance.i "misplaced mine"and i had insurance.call the 800 number on the bill and tell them you LOST it if you tell them it was stolen, you have to go through the hassle of getting a police report.they will e-mail you a form to fill out and fax back to them.you get a new phone in 2-4 days.if you didnt have insurance, you will have to buy a new phone outright which is about 200-300 dollars.

If its turned on let your friend or relative call it. When you hear a faint ring then look for it. If it got stolen report it to the police.
