The average marathon is about 3.5-4 hours. Marathon runners have to pace themselves so they don't die, and still some do die. The record time set for marathon wasn't done by a man who sprinted.

He would be hard pressed to sprint top-speed for 40 minutes even if he was a super athlete.

I don't. He might have run for 4 hours straight, but after sprinting top speed for about 30 minutes or less he would have passed out. He might have been running really hard for 4 hours, but not sprinting.

No. A sprint by definition is a short term thing. He can run for 4 hours, even run fast for 4 hours, but not sprint.

no i do not believe him because professional runners dont even sprint for 4 hrs straight, they pace themselves and take it slow lol

impossible, top speed will take alot of energy out of your body and there's no way a human can do this unless he's Superman,.. your 'friend' is loaded with crap!

1. He's young, and unless he is kid Flash, I don't think he can run that long unless he was trained VERY strictly.
