Appears so. Some say that he, because he is an actor, had no business doing standup. Because he's inexperienced, he couldn't handle disruptive crowds. Is it the fault of them calling him a cracker? I don't believe so. He REALLY over reacted, and ruined his career as well. Its sad, I really love Seinfeld. I guess he is a racist, some of that stuff doesn't come from heat of the moment anger, some of that is deep seated

Wow, that was quite a scene. I'd heard about it on the news but hadn't actually seen the video until now. It does seem like he really went off the deep end there. I would have left, too, as it seemed like many in the audience did. His behavior was inexcusable. Was he on drugs?!?

It's kinda hard to tell from the video the context of his use of the word...Lenny Bruce used the word in his monologues and certainly wasn't a racist...but Richards is certainly no Lenny Bruce.

Whether or not he is, he had no business saying it. If he couldn't handle the pressure, he shouldn't have stepped on stage. Personally, I think 'poor choice of words' is an understatement.

No. Why would he say "throw him out"?? Because he was doing schtick and it didnt work. But he was just trying to deal with a heckler and the way he responded didnt get laughs.

How can he be racist, he is a Jew, an officially oppressed people according to the Law book of Politically Correctness chapter 8 verses 12-16,
which states clearly he can not be racist although he 'looks' 'white'.
Didn't you ever hear of what happened to those people? He can say whatever he wants, sheesh!!!
