Yes, I believe my house is haunted. I live in a house that was built in 1972. The original owners had a business on the same property. The husband sold the property after the wife died in 1980.
The first floor (which is underground) was their bedroom, now a rompus room with the original fireplace. Odd construction, but the fireplace being downstaires and the main living areas being on the 2nd floor.
During the Winter we use the fireplace, it has a modern blower and a floor vent...at any rate............ONLY in the Winter? As I am sitting on the sofa I feel this hard thump against the wall, but the vibration can be felt through the sofa. It isn't the blower, that is very silent and you can barely tell it is on. The sound and feeling of this thumping is very loud, very vibrating, very scary.
The wall behind the sofa jolts so hard it actually makes the sofa bounce away from the wall. I can hear a very slight cry or moan, cat like, a woman or child, I can't tell which, high pitched, whinning.
At first we wanted to leave or sell the house. Then it went away. I have lived here for 6 years, it comes back every Fall.
I remembered when my Grandma used to tell me ghost stories? She said that ghosts are unsettled spirits. That when I see or hear them I should ask:
"What in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost do you want here? I give you permission to cross over and leave this place."
After several months of this...........noise, distrubance.......I spoke these words out loud? I have never heard it again.
I say my house was haunted! I say it stopped because I spoke to the ghost.

Yeah, I believe in ghosts, but I've never been to or lived in a haunted house. There is a haunted dorm and clock tower in my city though.

No, but I had a friend who lived in a share house that was & also my dad visited a house that was when he was a teen ager. Dont laugh it off or try to 'accomodate' it in anyway. You should get your Aunt to ring one or more of her local churches and have the pastor or an elder come over and pray through the house. It can be quite serious and dangerous!!

Mine is.
The ghost is a man, taller than average, and he's naughty as hell.
He keeps trying to frigten me with strange sounds, or the feeling that he's watching me. He purposefully tried to freak me out during the first couple of weeks I was here. (We just recently moved into a new house.)
We have an understanding with each other. I told him to stop trying to frigten me, since it only ticked me off, and he's respected me, and stopped. I mainly got angry about the whole thing.
I still feel him down here. (My bedroom is on the bottom floor of the house, which is a two-storey one.)
It's always cooler down here, and in the mornings it's almost freezing. But I got ticked off about that as well, and the temperature has gone up considerably. ; )
He does this to test me. I suppose it's fun for him. Well, it's fine now.
Hope I answered your question well enough.

Yes. It's been haunted my whole life.
Hard to explain really. Things sometimes disappear, doors open, etc. And every once in a while you'll see it.
I actually think there are two in this house. One is my grandfather. I'm not sure who the other is.

My house is. Whatever or whoever it is likes to play with my sons toys. At times when my son hasn't even played with a toy it will go off on it's own.
He has this little car that he can ride on; it plays music and has flashing lights on it. This toy has a tendency to go off on it's own. Usually I tell the ghost to knock it off and it stops. Sometimes I have to shut off the toy.
Then there are other times in my bedroom that I get the feeling that someone is watching me. When that happens I usually leave the room and then go back later.

Yes. The ghost just kind of observes us and will do different things to get our attention. Like it will call our names or touch us like a tap on our shoulder. It's freaky but it's been here for about a year.

Ghost, scientifically ghost cannot exist, for to be a sound of footprints there has to be substance, substance cannot go through walls, todate no person has ever proven the existence of a ghost, no photograph as ever been taken of one. and if anyone says that they have seen one then unless they can substantiate the apparition then it must be put down as the persons imagination. as for me well I don't believe in them, but I am scared of them.
