I have heard that if you use a silk or satin pillowcase your hair will not get messed up and frizzy at night when you sleep - is this true? Has anyone actually tried this?

No. I have had satin pillows and cotton pillows in the past, and my hair looked scary in the morning when I slept on each of them. I wish it was that easy to prevent frizzy hair.

I tried a satin or silk pillow slip and my hair was just as bad as when I was sleeping on a regular pillowslip. All night my hair and head kept sliding off the pillow so no sleep neither!

I've also heard this, but haven't tried it. Because the pillow is so smooth, your hair just slides along it instead of getting caught up.

No, I had more problems with static so eventually got rid of the silk.
