Does this sentence make sense: "I zoomed in my camera lenses"
If not, can you tell me the proper way to say it? Please give it to me grammatically correct.
I am trying to express that I zoomed so I could take a close up photo of something

What about zoomed out?

for zoomed in: using my camera, i zoomed in to take a close up picture of something.

zoomed out would be same, just don't say zoomed in or out the lens--that's unnecessary. eg, using my camera, i zoomed out to take the panoramic view from my hotel room's balcony. (but i think zoomed out is pretty needless unless your sentence is connected to the zoomed in sentence--eg, after i took the close up picture of the flower/name the thing, i zoomed out to catch the panoramic view from my hotel room's balcony on the 26th floor).

hope these examples help :)

You just need to say "I zoomed in to take a close up photo of the object.". You do not need to tell about the lenses being "zoomed". It is implicit.

If you want to mention about the lenses, you may say "I adjusted the camera lenses in order to focus/zoom in on the subject".

not quite sure but you could say "I zoomed in my camera lense to take a close up photo" but i reallly think "I zoomed in to take a close up photo" works better.
