I think it can actually be better than the first time, only because you know what went wrong in the first marriage and you can do your best to make the second better.

Truth is... statistics say that 2nd marriages do not last as long as 1st marriages. Marriage takes work no matter if first or second. But it seems from the statistics that second marriages take more work. If you are looking for an escape and a new start but you do not go in with your eyes open you could be in for more pain later. If you do get married be willing to change and maintain a desire to work on all issues that come up before you give up.

My husband and I are both 2nd time rounders and have been married for 2 years. There are too many varying circumstances inrelationships to stereotype a failed marriage and make it the 'expectation' that all subsequent marriages will fail. So long as you have learned from your previous mistakes or experiences, it should be just like any other marriage.

Second marriages are in many ways better because you're more mature and have learned more about the opposite sex. Just make sure you get to know the person very well and don't rush it. The percentage of 2nd marriage failure is higher than first marriage failures.

I believe the phrase "you only marry once" in your life time. I mean people should know that you have to find the right one before you get married, and that when there are problems occur in the marriage, 2 should work it out, not for one to cheat on the other, and hurt eachother. Some people get married for the wrong reasons, and that's why there are so many people who divorced today, should just get it right the first time. I mean you took the vows for the first time, and that you have to keep the promise for the rest of your life, you don't give up half way then get remarried. People have to take the vows seriously.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it; some judgemental, holier-than-thou people will, but just ignore them. As long as they both love eachother, then way to go on finding happiness. Maybe it'll stick this time.;)

Usually better than the 1st time out, and a whole lot more rewarding.
If it's you and yours, good luck!
