Im 75% sure Lily will be back with Toronto, hes a good pitcher and I think they will give him what he wants hopefully!
As for Clemens, I think he should retire!!!! He will never go to Boston, they blew their money already lol, I dunno where he will end up, maybe on a team that will give him alot of $$$

Roger Clemens isn't retitring anytime in the near future; you can count on that. As for the Blue Jays signing Ted Lilly again, I'm not so sure. He got into a major fight with the entire organization last year and I don't think the Blue Jays want him back.

The Jays most likely wont re-sign Lilly although they want him back. Lilly is just asking too much (about $8-9 M/ yr) and Jays arent willing to put up that much money.
As the way things are right now, i wouldn't be too suprised to see Clemens back for another year but not as a member of the Red Sox. Red Sox want him as a closer, and i doubt Clemens could see himself doing that.

I think the Blue Jays will probably resign Lilly if they are going to make a serious effort to contend for a title next year. If not, he will be too expensive for what they are willing to pay. I think Clemens is still going strong. The way the market is looking, someone will offer him big bucks and he will come back for at least 1 more year.

No and yes
Lily will most likely go to the Yankees
The Red Sox did not blow all their money on Matsuzaka and Clemens has said before it is the only place his family will move to. Clemens and the Red Sox both want him to break Cy Young's win total for the team which Clemens tied in his last appearance with the Sox.

The Yankees or another high payroll team will grab Lilly. There's no way he's playing in Toronto in 07. He's just asking too much. Clemens will never go to Boston because Boston blew all of their money with Matsuzaka. He'll probably go to a team with a high payroll.

i did no longer see this circulate coming in any respect, nor did any Blue Jay fan. Our pressing desires is interior the commencing rotation, a sequence up guy, a catcher and beneficial a shortstop.... except, this might nicely be a pre-cursor to a distinctive circulate that Richardi has up his sleeve. Ted Rogers (proprietor of the jays) gave Richardi an undisclosed volume of money to characteristic to the payroll. If this contract substitute into only a small factor of that quantity, then it ought to entice lots of the others to stay positioned, and nevertheless have the money to re-sign them (Wells, Lilly). Lilly would be inquiring for plenty extra suitable than he's worth. I doubt the Jays would be heavily attempting to offer up him. Wells is who they choose for. This substitute into Thomas's first extremely healthy twelve months when you consider that 2003. as long as he can get 450-500 at bat's i think of he will submit respectable numbers. sidenote, the guy hit 39 homeruns and easily 11 doubles? WOW.
