ok...one day there was this wierd cylidrical shaped object soaring around the sky looking out of my house, i know it was not a jet or plane because there was no tail of fog or sound at all, even waiting and listening, it was silent. it would appear, and the disappear. It appeared one more time that day, and i havnt seen it since.
it was quite scary.
if anyone has seen this also, please say so

Could be a strange mirage. Sometimes weird mirage can project skyline of cities beyond horizon or just strange shapes in sky when atmosphere refract lights in unusual ways.

First a little tention breaker. Please look here---->(*) you've just been flashy thinged. "That was not a spacecraft you saw out side your house. Swamp gas refracted the light from venus causing spectacular visual effects."
But on the serious side why must everyone be afraid of things they don't understand? If it was an alien spacecraft so what, what harm did it do? Don't get me wrong here I am not trying to belittle your experience or how you felt about it. I go by the no blood no foul method of u.f.o. sightings. I don't give in to hysteria or conspiracy theories. While I like to think that we are not alone in this universe I don't know if we are or aren't. Be not afraid of what you don't understand but rather attempt to understand it that you may be enlightened by it. Peace be with you.

June 4th, 1993 in Madison Heights Michigan. 9:10 pm. My mother, grandmother, younger brother and I were waiting for my father to exit his place of work, the Foodland grocery store at 14mile & Campbell rd. We saw a large cylinder, about the length of five of the houses it was hovering above. It had boxed lights that were incased in a corrugated surface that ran along the circumferance of the craft. The strange aircraft appeared to be flat black, save for the lights. It's outline was clearly visible as the sky was a violet color that night. It hovered in place once it reached Campbell rd and after about 30 seconds hovered silently south along the road but not passing it. Five minutes later when my father exited his work, he drove us all in pursuit of the U.F.O but it had dissapeared from sight in every direction.

Well I assume you live in Finland... maybe what you saw the phenomenon called Aurora Borealis. Some people might know it better as the Northern Lights.

I watched a documentary about people seeing ufo's in the sky.. it was near Arizona, so most people thought it was from Area 51..

Ya I saw one of those once at like 10 o'clock at night and no one belived me. The only difference is the one that I saw was ziggzagging. Like it would go far over the people's house behind me then over mine. It really scared me. My mom told me I should've woken her up but it was to weird to leave!!

We,my two sisters my brother and myself has saw something similar. Ours was round, the bottom spun around,and it made a loud whistle noise.
