The planet Saturn has 34 known Moons with 13 more waiting to be confirmed.
Titan, one of the 34 known Moons of Saturn is about the size of the planet Mercury, and has an atmosphere that is mostly Nitrogen.
Some of Saturns Moons travel around the planet in one direction, while others travel in the reverse direction such as Phoebe. 17 of Saturn's moons lie within the visable ring system encircling the planet. I find it odd that 17 and 17 = 34...an even split.
4 Space Probes have traveled to Saturn.
Pioneer 11 (1979)
Voyager 1 (1980)
Voyager 2 (1981)
Cassini-Huygens (2004)
Cassini took 7 years to make the trip to Saturn.
Huygens was released from Cassini to travel to the moon Titan, a 21 Day trip where it descended onto the moon's surface. Cassini will make 74 orbits of Saturn, 44 close flybys of Titan, plus flybys of some of the other moons before the missions scheduled end in July 2008. Some outstanding photography is expected from this voyage.

Zah
