without a father's consent. I am 13 and want to change my last name to my mother's maiden name. my parents are divorced, and my father wont agree to me changing my last name. how old do i have to be to change it legally?

you will probably have to wait until you turn 18. It may depend on what state you live in,too. as long as your dad pays support I doubt if you can do it without his consent.

To change it by yourself, what ever your state requirements are...if your a minor until your an adult or emancipated
