cant a bank tell if its a fake money order, my gf got them?

from a friend that sent her Walmart MO

Maybe, maybe not, a recognizable company to them ! If they do not do regular business, it clears like a personal check or worse !

Maybe not at the time you cash it, but once they find out it is a fake, they will track you down.
