im not that smart but i thought that there was a law saying matter can not me created of destroyed so i was wondering how can everything just appear from nothing if matter cannot be created?

You're absolutely right, and the Big Bang has a remarkable way of not violating that law.

Expirements have been done lately that prove that a particle, such as an electron, can be spontaneously created along with an anti-electron, or a positron. In the universe, both particles exist, both have mass, but should they colide, they would colapse into nothing-ness again.

The Big Bang could have been exactly such an event, but on a macro, or very large scale. Matter and anti-matter exist, and both might make up our universe. That satisfies the law of conservation of mass, as everything particle in the universe has an anti-particle. The net energy and net mass is zero.

If understand the theory correctly it's energy that can't be created or destroyed, but it can be converted into matter (and vice versa). The matter developed as the incredible energies of the big bang cooled off. If you want a more technical answer, I'm sure someone will shortly provide one, or you can try reading Hawkings Brief History of Time, or any number of popular books on the subject.

Scientists like Steven Hawking hypothesize that the laws of nature may not have existed as we know them in the nanoseconds after the big bang.

Scientists are already pursuing theories that suggest that at enormously high temperatures, the fundamental forces of nature may unify. At temperatures we cannot even imagine, who knows what the rules of the Universe would be.

We don't even know if the Big bang actually occurred.

properly, specific it does yet conservation skill a somewhat distinctive ingredient from what maximum people think of it does. i'm going to describe this utilising a appropriate concept that's surely somewhat much less stressful to appreciate; conservation of momentum. enable's say I positioned some rely in area. Poof there you bypass there is adequate mass for a photograph voltaic equipment, besides the undeniable fact that it relatively is only putting there in area. It has no angular momentum. yet gravity will kick in and it will crumple in on itself, and because it relatively is falling swifter on the interior than on the outdoors it is going to start to spin, and eddies will start to look forming the seeds of planets. yet consistent with conservation of momentum it under is going a technique favourite as fragmentation which demands that the momentum vector alterations, and it relatively is doing this to cancel itself out. alterations in one are compensated for someplace else in the equipment. So in the tip you have an entire photograph voltaic equipment in action with angular momentum vectors, yet an entire internet angular momentum of 0. that's conserved. potential is only like this. you may get a universe from not something. 0 internet enter and nonetheless get a universe as long because it nonetheless provides as much as 0. Gravity could have damaging potential, and it cancels out precisely. the entire internet potential of the universe is 0 and is conserved.
