I heard if they hit a nerve it can cause impotence or loss of feeling. What are the chances of a profesional making that mistake? How do they no where the nerves are? Is it hard to piss afterwards?

OK, now from somebody who actually *HAS* one...

There are no nerves in the location of a PA other than those that give it sensation, so there is no danger of debilitating nerve damage that would cause impotence or loss of feeling...therefore, nothing the piercer can do will risk that. It's also not very painful...the worst part is the anticipaton and the mental notion that you're about to be stabbed "down there" Even if you get over the notion to run away, "he" will still try...just accept the fact that you're going to look as if you were just soaking in icewater for an hour. The little guy has his own sense of self preservation all by himself...who knew.

It *does* bleed a lot immediately afterward. It's a very vascular area, but that also lends to its rapid rate of healing, too. However, when it's done, the piercer will give you ALL the information you need to take care of it right away as well as long term. DO NOT listen to any advice that begins with "I heard that..."

Your major item of concern is to keep it from getting irritated by being bumped, jiggled, wiggled, and clothes friction while it's healing. As long as you keep it clean, infection is a low risk...an there's not going to be any flesh eating bacteria to worry about.

Peeing afterward...here's the deeper end of the TMI pool :)
1) The first time you urinate after having it done, you want to do it in the shower. The reason will be glaringly obvious when you actually do it.
1a) You will be very nervous about it hurting like hell the first time you pee...this is natural, and you'll find yourself holding it extra long while you're nervous. Once you let 'er rip, it'll sting a little at first, but will actually feel unbelievably soothing...it will be the most gratifying piss in your entire life...sounds silly, but it's true.
2) You'll definitely want to sit for the first week or two so you don't unduly agitate or irritate it by having to "aim"
3) After you get back into the swing of using the urinal, you'll get the hang of the new technique.
4) To answer the unasked question: Yes, when you take it out, you pee in two directions at once.

Keep in mind that urine is sterile until it exits the body. Drink lots and pee lots...this actually works to keep it disinfected during the healing process.

Obviously bathing regularly is a no-brainer (I hope), but do be gentle in that area...for rather conspicuous reasons. Try to avoid the area with soap for a few weeks as this can irritate the newly healing piercing. The piercer will give or recommend somthing to clean the piercing with...usually a liquid soap called Satin or Provon, but may vary by location and the piercer's background.

NEVER EVER use alcohol (duh) or peroxide to clean or disinfect the area. They do indeed clean and disinfect, but not only hurt like hell, they actually irritate and make healing take longer.

...and I've NEVER ripped a condom nor gotten "stuck"

Uh ok these guys have no idea what they're talking about. I have one. No doesn't hurt like a mofolike they're saying. Tender and sore the first week or so yes and will be bleeding the first week (totally normal since you get boners and the wound re opens hence the bleeding). Sex feels great to be honest. For you and her. No it won't mess her up inside unless you stick with that pun y 14g you are pierved with. Fayhe it to about a 10 or higher and both you and her will like it more. Will say the curved bar bell is easiest to pee with. Just push the bottom ball against the hole and you're all set.

Definitely recommend getting it

There are several: first, when you get it, if you get an infection, then your member may be out of comission for *months* (no fun). second, this may sound odd (and it's highly unlikely) but you can actually get it caught inside a woman while in the act. I'm not sure about impotence, but I've heard it does hurt to pee afterwards. You also cannot have sex for 2 months after you first have it done. - I'd think twice about this, most guys end up deciding the pro's don't outweigh the cons.

ok first I have to ask why would you want one? Can we say pain!!

But for real, it is just like getting you tonuge peirced. Yes it will swell and yes it may be painful to piss the first two or three times.
As long as you keep the area clean and check the person out before you get it done, you should be fine.

good luck.

I really wouldn't do that. I don't know much about the repercussions for the guy, but I've heard of some of the ones that can occur to the woman who has sex with a man with said piercing. For one thing, it can be difficult for said man to wear a condom, as it would rip alot easier, and it can also potentially do damage to a woman internally during sex. To each their own though. Some men have them and seem to have no problems. You should give it alot of thought and truly weight the pros and cons before you seriously consider doing it though.

You would need to practice really good hygiene, because you wouldn't want an infection.

You mean other than attracting a bunch of gay men, unless that's what you want? In that case, then it's another location for infection.

Evidently you didn't hear the recent news story about the 18yr old woman that thought it would be cool to get her nipple pierced. Oh it was a really neat and sexy idea, until she got an infection of flesh eating bacteria and had to have her breast removed to save her life. Some choice huh?

Go ahead and get your dick pierced you knucklehead because I would love to hear the news about you loosing your dick because you wanted to be cool!
