UFO's are unidentified flying objects and USO's are unidentified submerged objects. UFO's are in the air, USO's are underwater.

I have been scratching my head for five or ten minutes...
checking my references...and I am unable to come up
with the meaning of USO. I presume you mean Unidentified
Space Objects.
Well, since I had to reach way out into left field to try and
identify what comparison you wish to make, I am at a loss
to help you further.
UFO's are presumeably seen by man at relatively close ranges.
Unidentified Space Objects might be millions of miles away,
and have characteristics beyond my ability to judge or suggest.
It might be helpful if you would define:

Unidentified Flying Object and Unidentified Submerged Object. It seems there are also alien craft operating in Earth's lakes and oceans.

I believe they are the same thing as in extraterrestrial crafts just that some appear to be using our lakes and oceans to hide in and possibly underwater bases.Land based ships have been reported by some to disappear into mountain areas also. Here is one person making some of these claims I have heard. Where he gets his information from is hazy.
