It is currently a rust/brown two tone color. It is a 1970's model and is in very good shape but the color needs to be lighter, maybe almond/beige. I searched the internet for info but only found sites to purchase new ones at a very expensive price.

Yes, you can paint it.. I am assuming you are referring to the parts that does not get terribly hot. You should get the paint(enamel) that withhstands heat... Home Depot knows what that is.

I have a old pot bellied stove in my work shop. It gets really hot I just painted it with BBQ grill paint it looks like new and seems to be doing well.I spend 4 to 5 hours a night out there and it has been used several times since i painted it. I used a forest green color.

Yeah i painted my Benjamin Franklin wood stove with heat resistance paint i purchased at Wal Mart, it works and looks great. happy hoilidays!

How hot does the outside get. You can buy engine paint ( high temperature), but you are limited on color. If you can touch it while it is on, then paint it with epoxy appliance paint.

Use heat resistant paint, it's available at any good hardware store but there isn't a huge colour selection unfortunately.
