Have you ever flipped a coin and had it land on the edge?

I had this happen to me, and i was freaking out. I thought it was just an expression but i was just messin around with my girlfriend, i flipped the coin, and it actually sat up on its edge, not head nor tails. Awesome. Has this ever happened to you or have you ever heard of this happening to someone else? (by the way the chances for a u.s. nickel is 1/6000 according to answers.com)

It happened to me once too, and it totally freaked me out!
and later on in the same day when I was playing Yahtzee, I rolled all sixes on the first roll!
wierd **** happens sometimes...

sure. It honestly takes position extra many times than you imagine and it in many cases amazes a room finished of people or purely sends someone operating after the coin which could likely be rolling someplace. in many cases although, you'll see funds land on their part through an unintended drop/toss etc. The physics in touch with flipping will make an part sensible landing extra unbelievable.

yup i did done tat b4 wif a 10cent s'pore coin. n yes there is other ppl who did tat. some r even bcoz they r using coin prediction n the ans happens 2 b neither yes nor no.

That might have happened once. Probably not though, as it's the type of thing I should remember. I know it's possible.
