You can learn a lot, including things that con artists are doing to scam the general public, you can read some great stories, it's wholesome fun. When I pick one up I have a hard time putting it back down.

it's a mix of everything. you get some true stories, some fictional stories, some jokes some medical information. it's just a general information magazine. i wouldn't say there is any "benefit" to reading it. tho i enjoy reading the jokes when i am at the doctors office.

they sometimes have interesting articles in there and somewhat humorous anecdotes and jokes. It's the kind of reading that's really exciting when you're waiting in the doctor's office, but when you read it at home, it's not that great. :-)

One benefit is increasing your word power. Also you can be exposed to a variety of writing to see if you might want to pursue it further. It is a very good thing.
