my friend got some money orders , and she is hoping there not fake , they are from Walmart , I told her the only way you can get a money order is to give Walmart the money and they are like cash , i also told her if it was a cashiers check that might be fake , she called Walmart and they told her the highest amt on a money order is 1000 dollars the money orders she got were 925 dollars each, you cant scam on money orders can you ??? is my question

Yes you can My Mom got took for several hundred dollars on several diffrent MO Go to a bank for the good ones

I've never heard of fake money orders, so I think she's ok . . . one thing, however, would be to consider the source . . . is there any reason to suspect the person or company that she received them from? If they are from WalMart, take them to the nearest WalMart; I would think they could tell you.

you can scam on money orders but you hafta work where the money orders are issued, but wal-mart itself prolly did not issue those the bank that is in every wal-mart did. i would guess they are not fake and to go cash them post-haste.

Sure, you can get scammed on money orders. They could be forged or stolen.
