Would you like to be more popular with more acquaintances or have a few close buddies in the world but be less popular?

I would rather have few close friends... I have many acquaintances whom I am not close to, and it sucks...

I would rather have a few close friends that are more like family members and that you know that you are there for each other,rather than having lots of acquaintances that don't really know you,or you not really knowing them.

The fact of the matter is I DO have a few close friends and many acquaintances. I would imagine most people fall into that same category

I'd rather have a ver few close friends than to be popular with a lot of people. I'd take trust over popularity any day.

A few close friends. I've found that quite frankly I don't like the majority of folks and don't care about being popular.

Definitely a few close friends. Time with people you know and love is much more valuable than vacuous chit chat with people you really don't care that much about. I asked this exact same question a little while ago - everyone said close friends or both.
