Ramada Inn? Are you talking about people who celebrate at the hotel, or people who actually celebrate the existance of the hotel chain? And what does fasting have to do with it? I'm pretty sure that Ramada Inn provides catering services.

this is what i personally think about fasting this is just my opinion
lets say u did something or said something and u have this incredible guilt and u want to be forgiving just to feel better u know?
u tried everything and u say to your self maybe if i dont do nothing all day no tv nothing i like to eat make your self eat something u hate like limabeans (sorta like a punishment to your self) or not eating at all
just so u feel cleansed at the end of the day
i think it should be spontanius
this kinda thing shouldnt be planned
because if u plan it your going to feel like your hungrier then normal
knowing u cant eat will drive u crazy

Though I am not Islamic and I do not fast for the month Ramadan, I am aware that you can eat after the sun goes down, so you won't starve yourself to death. If you are determined you can do it, I'm not sure its easy but about 12.5% of the planet is fasting as well.

fasting is not that hard for the Muslim if you're talking about the Ramadhan.i personally don't think it's hard...besides health benefits which one gains through fasting,it's an act of worship which helps one who observes it attain piety, humbleness and share the feelings of the beret and hungry in the community ...fasting also allows one to be more benevolent and charitable.

Well, personally I celebrate MARRIOT, but we don't fast at all. We participate in a 4 day binge of cheese and crackers, and at the end we all sing "All things bright and beautiful" while holding up effigies of famous talking dogs.
