I think God likes a honest from the heart prayer. I don't think it needs to be anything fancy or thought out. Just something simple that gives him our thanks and praise.

The Serenity Prayer
GOD grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference between the two! Peace!
The LORDS Prayer is also a good one! Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name ! Thy Kingdom come, Thy WILL be done.....Math 6:9-13 Peace!
