If your vacuuming cleaner has an outside bag then remove it and give it a wash in hour washer with some lemon juice.. then dry it outside.. It will freshen it up.

You can stop also your vacuuming smelling by sprinkling baking soda over your carpet and vacuuming it up it will remove odors from your carpet and your bag.

Also.. for a fresh smelling vacuum, put n two tablespoons of powder laundry detergent(scented) directly in the vacuum bag and it will last for 10 or so vacuums
