Really it's a matter of personal preference and comfort. Some fellows like things high and tight, and others prefer the loosey goosey fit. Personally I don't care, I just don't want to see them exposed above the waistline of pants, and I don't want a view of the split. And I really, really, don't want to see a thong, ever. Aside from that, your choice of underwear is your own business, I don't make calls on what I don't have to see.

I say boxer that way it will hang and maybe get pretty long. Beliefs may make it not grow cause Big is better!
