so if your parents give permission for you to leave home, what age can you leave? i was told 15 but i want to check

There's a High school called The NC School Of Math And Science. You get a dorm. It's for grades 11-12. So it's if you're 16.

I really do not think it would stand up in court because let say they did and you get into some trouble and you needed some help to get out of it and you called home and they said sorry you are on your own will lets say you go to court and the judge would be locking your parents up and your parents say I gave her a note what do you think?. really why would you want to leave so bad. just wait your time

Sorry but u still cannot leave until 18 unless u go to court and file papers! BUT I have a son and I know Id let him b here forever! But its truly 18 until then parents are totally responsible for u-unless u go to court!

I can have the most freedom when i am 16 but i cannot leave my home untill im 18 and im off to college.

Honey if i were you i would stay home as long as you can at least 18yrs old. I left home when i was 18 and i should of stayed longer..u think it is all cool and everything until reality hits you and u realize you are on your own, and 15 is way too early..stay home as long as you can you have your whole life to live.

I left when I was 16, but I would tell my kids to stay until they are either in college or have a full time job and fully capable of supporting themself (around 17 or 18)

I Think it's 16, but you have to get emancipated, and prove to the judge that you can provide for yourself, and keep a roof over your head and food in your stomach...I would reccomend stating home til' your 18 with a full time job..!
