sonic adventure battle 2: my chao is dark, but i want it to be hero. is that possible?

my chao just got that little cocoon around it and it changed so that it had a spike ball on its head, meaning it's dark. I don't want it to be dark, i want it to hero. Is there anyway to change it back now that its dark? (it was hatched from a white egg bought from the black market, i dont know if that makes a difference)

Sadly, there is nothing you can do now about your Chao. If you absolutely have to have a Hero type Chao, you're going to have to buy a new egg and raise it using the Hero characters (Sonic, Knuckles, Tails). If you raise it more with the Hero characters and do not abuse it (ie throw it around at walls and such) it will evolve into a Hero Chao eventually.

This does not mean you have to get your chaos drives and your animals with Hero characters, but the character that actually GIVES the chao the item needs to be a Hero character.

A chao that has changed into a dark chao cannot be changed into a hero chao. I suggest that you buy a new chao and start over. Here is a tip: if you give it unicorns, dragons, and pheonixes, the chaos will be more likely to be a hero chao.

you're actually not likely to be attentive to what alignment he's until he certainly evolves into an person. even if, the "dot" above his head is genuinely no indication of what alignment he would be. the colour of the dot has something to do together with his stats. only save engaged on it. It takes some in-backyard hours for a Chao to advance up. in case you extremely are only utilising dark characters on him, he would be dark.
