I usually just wet the old piece of soap and the new bar of soap and then squish them together in the shower so they stick to each other.

I don't have a recipe for putting all the little pieces together, but I think that might be a little intensive, it would take a lot of little pieces to make a normal sized bar.
Instead, I've heard it's a good idea to put the pieces in a small cotton sock, so it kind of doubles as a washcloth. The little pieces you may have will be used up within one or two showers anyway, and then you just wash the sock for next time.

I take my pieces and soften them up in the microwave. I don't melt them completely because they get too hot to work with. I then scoop them out of the bowl with a spoon and place on saran wrap and mold them into the shape I want. You can add a little water to smooth it out a little better. They harden right away and work very well.

You can get a plastic thingy from Wal-Mart that takes the soap and you squeeze it into one bar, we haven't tried it and are looking for it. They've been out.

ya i do. melt the soap and and put it in a container then freeze it. or you could buy a soap making kit and just add the peices of your soap

My grandma used to put them into a old nylon stocking, and tie it into a knot and cut off the excess and use it for cleaning the tub. It works real well.

i just stick the little bar to the new bar. works for me!
