When I lived in California, it was known as the Party School!
But, yes, it's one of the better state universities.

Chico is known for being "THE PARTY" school in northern california, I do not anyone who has been to chico without doing drugs, you might as well buy marijuana from a vending machine, they have one of the highest alcoholic rates around. so you can party more than everyone else when you are done or drop out
