I like it! Very original, and not something that one could be teased over. I agree, they would work as for both boys and girls.

The first thing I thought of is the song Dominic the donkey which I heard a few times today. And Dimitri? If you'd move back to the old country, this might go over better. You might live in a neighborhood where this would work. Remember, though, that kids can be cruel.

I love Dominic and Dimitri for boys names. Very sexy. But I am not sure I would like either of these names for a girl.

The name or names will come to you. Even at the last minute , they will click in your head and there will be no chaning your mind.
But all and all I think you have picked great names for either girl or boy.
Like I said before they will come to you.
GOOD LUCK

Dominic: from Latin. meaning "belonging to or pertaining to God"
Dimitri: derived from the Greek name Demetrius, meaning "lover of the earth"
I think they are very good choices!

Those are some awesome twin names, way better than Pete and Repete. ;) With names like those, they'd have to be good-looking, separate-individual twins. :)

If they are boys that's fine but if they are one boy and one girl I would call the girl "Dominique". Otherwise, anyone who sees the name but doesn't know her will assume she's a guy. Save her a lifetime of inconvenience and go with "Dominique".
