Because he is an idiot. People of all races paid money to see that washed up moron, and he acts like a jerk. Unless this was some kind of publicity stunt (like many before him have done),so now he gets his name in the paper. Even bad publicity is publicity, just ask Michael Jackson! But I think it was just his true feelings. What an idiot!

It substitute right into a bad element to assert for beneficial yet is it worse than this " women individuals strongly want Hillary, African human beings strongly want Obama" Diane Feinstein- (D) CA She only admitted the DNC isn't something extra suitable than 2 communities. Racists and sexists. For the 1st time in my existence I accept as true with Sen Feinstein

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
Not sticking up for the guy but it happened and unfortunatly he may be kicking himself.
Many of us have some degree of prejudice but some have better control than others. I've grown up with some but have greatly improved. It sounds real bad when I hear it come from another. I cringe when I hear it and say "Did I sound that bad?
We ordinary people can slip up and nobody notices.
A celebrity should know better I realize. He gets caught and
he's condemned for life.
Mel Gibson and his ant-Jewish remarks.
Mark Furhman and his remarks. I think he was still a good
Conscientious detective and not one to plant evidence.
Would he murder one of a different race?
Again unproven.
If a person makes a deliberate habit of insulting people of
other religions and races than yes thats prejudice.
How many of us are that clean that we've never made a bad remark about us and them behind their backs? I think any of us including celebs diserve the benefit of the doubt if its a one time slip.
The most sickening racist and anti-religious remarks are on these boards and complaints to yahoo are ignored. They're left and children can see them yet I keep getting violations over foolishness.

Someone else said it best. If you are not Afican-American and you use the N- word, you have alot of explaining to do.
He was being heckeled by the audience and since he is an actor and not a stand-up comedian, he didn't know how to handle it.
He was wrong and probable drunk or high or both, but still wrong.
Mel Gibson made offensive remarks about the Jewish people and he was wrong too. We need to be aware that there is everyone everywhere who could be offended by almost anything anyone says.
Some should just keep their remarks to themselves.

This was really surprising to me. I saw the footage on CNN and it looks like he lost his mind or something.
You would think that someone who comes from a minority group of people who were oppressed would naturally sympathize with other minorities, but it ain't necessarily so. Anyone can be a racist. I used to think that only ignorant, uneducated people with a low life condition and no exposure to others were racists, but that isn't necessarily true either.
It sure was ugly to watch him.

Why is it that it's ok for everyone else in the world to use racial epithets against whites, be it jokingly, casually, or offensively, but if it's the other way around, it's a top news story?
