You could possibly do us a favor if you write your proposed itinerary so that we can easily single out the "worst location in the world" from your tour plan and you have safe journey!
Now could you please let us know if you have phobia or fear of one of the following situations prevailing in any country that you would like to avoid?
1. War and political/civil unrest.
2. Outbreak of diseases like Yellow ever, Cholera Sars, Bird Flu, Aids, TB, Malaria etc.
3. Natural calamities like Tsunami, Flood, Cyclone, Tornado, earthquake etc.
4. High poverty where beggars would surround you and pester all the time.
5. High crime rate and chances of hijacking even body injury exists.
6. Bad location for shooting films or documentaries.
7. Extreme high or low temperature currently prevailing.
8. You name it (LOL)
Now, if you watch TV and hear BBC World Service, CNN and such leading news sources then you can recollect a few names where continuous disturbances are occurring and also there are some official guidelines issued by many governments to its citizens to avoid some of the countries for the time being. It would not be prudent to name any country (besides what you can find through news) since no country is immune from this or that problems.
If you need help, better consult your own government agencies as well as travel agents who could possible give you objective pictures of the places safe for you to visit now.

Mexico City!!!
Very expensive, polluted, unsafe, takes 3 hours to get from one place to another
Crowded, people are not nice, you get kidnapped and killed, etc, it is the worse!!!
