My library is trying to raise money. A couple people said it would be a good idea to dress up in 4in. high heels to raise money. Someone else said a dress. Another person said to dress up like a girl all the way. What should I do? And should I set a price at which I will do these things? If so what?

Why don't you just get a bunch of guys together and do it and have a beaauty contest and charge admission?

Heck - for a library or a charity go for it! But be careful with the heels - the two times I tried wearing them (and they were like 2") I nearly killed myself - those things are HARD to walk in...

And as someone who used to organize fund raisers - get a bunch of buys together and do one of those 'dating auctions' or a beauty contest or some such. Do it as a charity event and use it for the library.

Just remember - the further you go - the more you charge...

Heck - if you want to chat - I haven't done fund raising work in years - IM or email me and I'll happily help out.

Go for it, all the way. Be completely outrageous (remember Ru-Paul?).
I would charge $5 per person to see you in the heels, another $5 to see you in the dress, and another $5 to see you in a wig and full makeup.
Have fun - find a really funky big-hair blond wig and a really tacky dress, some shiny heels, lots of tacky jewellry and bright red lipstick and have a good time with it.
Remember, its for a good cause.

OK what you should do is charge people to bring in stuff for you to wear. The more girly the funnier and remind people its for a good cause and also you could charge admission and i also agree, get some buddies and have a beauty contest. Have your librarian (s?) e the judges
and remember- have fun most of all!

what is it that you're "selling?" are you saying they're telling you to pimp yourself out? it's one thing if you're going to sell kisses at a kissing booth, but to allow yourself to be ogled for a price, that's just sheer prostitution and should not be allowed or even considered if you have any self-respect. there are plenty of other ways to raise money for the library, such as used book sales, video tape sales, etc., bake sales, that sort of thing. if you're looking to become a whore, then go ahead and dress up and have men pay to look at you and offer to do more for a bigger contribution. good luck.

exactly how does that relate to raising money for BOOKS, It sounds like they just want a guy to dress up. sure it's for charity, but at least make it relating to the cause. you could go with it if you want, just don't have anybody force you to do it.

have sort of like an auction,
show off pieces of women's clothing and see how much they'll pay for you to put them on,
then have like a "fashion show" and charge a reasonable price for admissions, let let them pay whatever for admissions.
