When a woman is considering a man as a mate, is there anything above money on the priority list?

Having an intelligent and kind partner ranks at the top for both sexes. Then for woman, the second thing is; resources and status. For men, the second thing is; youth and beauty and this is on average ,for both sexes. This ranking order enjoys high empirical support, so any ideological rebuttal is wrong, but expect to see many here.

money shouldn't be the priority on any womans list when looking for a mate, maybe a independent man that does not still live at home and mooch off his parents but not actually rich or anything.
we need sensitivity to an extent
sexual compatability is a big one too
compassion
sense of humor
respectfulness
most women say looks don't matter but believe me they do no matter what any women says
there are alot of qualities we want in men, it just is different for every woman.
but money was never ever one of mine.

Many many things are more important than money. At least to a woman who is worth staying with. I suppose, in all honesty, money can never hurt, but it isn't what I look for personally.

As long as the man isnt going to take me for everything i have worked hard for.. then i dont care what job he has. or what money he makes.
As long as he can support himself.. i dont ask for handouts.
I do like a sence of humour, a smile, a nice warm hug.
i think life would be hell without cuddles.

Money has very low priority for me, and I am sure for other women too. I value intelligence, kindness, a sense of humor, good taste, respect, far more. Oh, and not having a beer belly.

Money represents security.
If a woman equates your money-making abilities with that, she probably just needs to be reassured that you will take care of her. She should be able to do stuff at her end regarding saving it if she's so concerned about it, though. For instance, she should make enough to buy groceries for everyone, and you should make enough to pay for the rent/mortgage.

I bet if you looked for something else besides perfection in a woman, you would find that there are woman that love life with or without money.

well, i've been seeing my boyfriend for almost 8 months but we've known each other for about a year now and i swear what i'm about to say.
there's nothing more amazing than looking up to him and knowing that he loves you back. i'm so proud of everything he does and I feel lucky to walk by his side. sure we have our silly fights but you know how it goes without fights there's no love and more often than not we just can't stay mad at each other.
