I know "with age comes responsibility", and adults are more responsible (usually) when it comes to having protected sex. I know that stuff. But if 2 people really loved each other, yet they were young (11-15)and had sex, would you think that was wrong or right? (let's say they used a condom)

fyi~ only reason I'm asking- I lost my virginity to a girl I hardly knew at 15, and I've gotten some judgemental remarks. What do YOU guys think of this issue?

at that age there are SO SO many other things to think about besides sex.

You probably didn't lose your virginity in the most perfect way, at the most perfect age or with the perfect person, but very few people do.

I'm sorry you've had some judgemental remarks - probably they just wanted you to have a better experience.

I do think 11 is far too young to have sex with or without a condom and even with someone they really love - a boy or girl of that age has barely started puberty.

I think honestly if you arent old enough to handle the consequences of getting pregnant or getting someone pregnant you dont need to be having sex. I lost my virginity at 16 and was the last of my friends they did it years before me some when they were 12. Its sad. I think my 16 was too early even. You really need to be able to handle the emotional side of sex as well, and sorry but at 11 or 15 people that say they "love" each other in my opinion have no clue what so ever

Okay, I'm confused. First you say you really loved this girl, then you say you hardly knew her.
Anyway, I still think it's wrong to tell you the truth. I mean, even if you did use a condom, they only work 95# of the time, and sometimes, you end up with this preganate girl expecting you to help take care of a baby at 15. It's different for an adult, because if they end up being preganate, they have money and a job, while all you have is your parents to fall back on. If you love her, show her you love her, in a caring way, not just getting into her pants to "prove" that you love her. I'm not saying to go live your life in dissapointment or despair never to have sex again, but look back on your mistake, (if you classify it as one), and think of it as a little more wisdom for your later years.

Just to let you know if you were 15 and she was younger. You can go to jail. That is rape. Girls cannot BY LAW give consent (not matter the boys age) until they are age 15.

I don't think its right. I would like to know where the hell kids' parents are. I mean God. This is shameful.

Sorry if I sound harsh, but condom or no condom...couldnt you find a movie to watch? I hope you seriously regret it and don't have sex for a LONG time. There is a reason masterbation should be encouraged.

Yes, I think age matters. I lost mine at a very young age and it was the worst thing I could have done. No, I didn't get pregnant, but I lost something important. I would still give anything to be able to give that gift to my husband, any future spouse deserves that. I wish I had understood how important it was before I had sex. 11 years old is way too young, condom or not. But people make mistakes, maybe this will be one of those people you just mentioned in a couple years and they will regret it.....maybe not....

Yes, 11 is too young, yes, 15 is too young - but it's not just about age and responsibility. There are a lot of incredibly irresponsible 30 somethings out there going at it willy-nilly...

If it's really love, it will last the test of time and when you're really ready - and know enough about yourself, your body, your partner - it's just that much better.

I speak from experience. I lost my virginity at 15 and didn't figure out how to really enjoy what I was doing until I was in my early 20s and married...

I think that kids under15 aren't suppose to have sex because if for example, a boy sticked his penis inside her peepee, then the girl will become pregnant and she won't know how to deal with it. She also hasn't produced milk yet. If her parents know, she'll get in big trouble. For people over 15, age doesn't matter. Wheather you're 20 or 30 or even 70, you can still have sex. But, at age 70, you might as well play with yourself. I'm not telling you what age I am.

Age totally matters!! I could understand it if you were both over 18, when age starts to become less important, but 11 and 15!!! That is both ridiculous and wrong!!! That girl is a child, and you are almost an adult. Besides, you shouldn't be having sex yet, even if you and your partner were the same age. You should know better!!!!!

I think that at 11-15 that's pretty early. I guess it's one of those things... each to their own. But definately at 11 I think it's way to early. I think the thing that might be getting you the judgemental remarks is the fact that you hardly knew the person. To me that's an important part, knowing the person you are with.

When you are old enough to make an adult decision is not the question it is when you are old enough to take care of a child that could be the product of a broken condom. At 15, obviously not. If you are not old enough to smoke or drink then thinking about having sex and/or producing an innocent life is not right. Fight for your innocence and your childhood. Stop being in such a rush to grow up, you will miss what you have or could of had when it is gone. There is plenty of time to be an adult when you are one!
