Would a IQ of 122 qualify me for any good jobs? If so please list them. Consult me if you have any suggestions to improve IQ level.
Is a IQ test results very accurate? I took my tet on tickle.com. The website claims that the test it is using, is the "real test" used by professionals, and schools. Even if the Iq wouldn't qualify me for a good job, at least I dont have to work at Mcdonalds, right?

Yes, an IQ of 122 is a good score. The scores from 85 to 115 range from low average to high average. Generally an IQ score is given as 122, plus or minus 3, or plus or minus 5, which means that your IQ would be somewhere in the range between 119 and 125.

Any IQ test that you do on line is not a real IQ test. They are interesting and fun to do, and they do tell you something about yourself, but they tend to score higher than real IQ tests.

IQ scores don't qualify you for any job particularly. With the IQ score you need an education, a good work ethic, ability to get along with all kinds of people, to tap into your specific skills and interests, etc., so don't worry too much about IQ scores. An IQ score is not who you are. Much more important than an IQ score is what you do with it.

An IQ of 122 is good for anyone of any age. You would have to read your "Tickle" test profile to find out what kinds of jobs to look into. That depends upon where you did the best. The test seems fairly valid to me; I took it and did quite well myself. However, research shows that IQ tests are best considered as predictors of success in school, not as predictors of job or life success. The average IQ range for middle-class Americans and Canadians is between 90 and 110, so your score is in the top end, above average. IQ scores can be improved by studying the kinds of things that are asked in the tests, but that would make the results less valid than an unrehearsed test-taking. And there's nothing wrong with working at McDonald's - if that's what you want to do with your life.

122 is a very high IQ for a twelve year old, but IQ tests can be a misleading indicator of job capability. Sorry to tell you, but even an IQ of 180 doesn't guarantee you a good job unless you have experience and a good education. Being smart is only the first step. You will also need to learn a skill and become good at it. Are your strengths in mathematics, language, or 3D comprehension? Things like this will help you decide how to focus your education to make the most of your high IQ level.

A 122 IQ is good regardless of anyone's age. Average IQ is 100, and 68% of all people fall somewhere between 85 and 115--so if 122 really is your score, you'd fall above that. Realize though that IQ is just a score on a test; it really doesn't say how smart you are or what job you have to do. Also online IQ tests (even those that claim to be the "real test") are notoriously unreliable.

Tickles IQ test isn't a real IQ test. It generally inflates scores, as much as 20 points in some cases, depending on wether or not you took the super IQ test or the classical IQ test.

The classical test on tickle has a ceiling of around 144 and it's pretty much a joke. This test shouldn't be taken seriously.

The super IQ test is also a joke. It is FAR to easy. Anyone can ace this test. From experience, it's given me scores that are generally ~15 points too high...and that was with no effort put into solving the questions.

So, don't take 122 literally. I would suggest taking http://www.iqtest.dk/main.swf, as it is a more accurate test, and reflects a real IQ test used by psychologists.

Your IQ is not going to qualify you for a job. Hard work and good grades is the way you will get a job. I'm sure there are people that have very high IQ's that work at McD's. Your IQ means nothing, especially not the ones from tickle.
My advice is work hard and go to college.

I wouldn't trust the online tests. Besides, IQ doesn't really mean that much - especially when looking for a job. They're not going to be interested in your IQ you got from a website. They'll be looking for experience. You don't have to work at McDonalds - because no one is going to hire a 12-year old. It's illegal until you're at least 15. And by then, hopefully you can find something better. Or just go to college. That's good too.

because iq is a quotient of your mental age over your physical age, being young makes your iq a lot higher because the denominator is smaller. we couldn't really tell for now unless your intelligence stabilizes. as you grow older, you will notice that your iq averages around 90-100. very smart kids who were considered precocious or gifted had iqs around 300 - 400 or even higher. at mean ages, say around 25 - 30, these are the rough classifications below 70 - imbecile 71 - 80 - below average 81 - 100- average 100 - 125 - above average 126 - 135 - gifted 136 - 145 - genius 146 -155 - ranking genius

Actually it s pretty good. But I would suggest you not to Bragg to your friends. After all, school tests you memory not intelligence. Getting a good iq does not immediately make you a super smart person and get any job you want. Besides, if you took an iq test online, the test would prabably bumb your iq by like a few points. Nine tests are not accurate so...

I scored 146 at tickle, while I know my real IQ is 139. So yours would be just under 120. It's OK, though, above average, which btw is NOT 100, because people are getting smarter and IQ tests need to be adjusted periodically.
