Send a letter to the last 4 or 5 places you applied to:
Kind name or employer. I am so and so. Within the last two months, I applied to work at your company. I am skilled in ____ and educated through ____ grade. Although I did not receive a job offer from your company, I would find it quite helpful if you would take just a moment to jot down a thought or two on how I might better present myself. The enclosed postcard is not marked in anyway so that each of the companies may respond in complete candor.
Thank you.

My suspicion is that you have not made enough contacts. Some people think once they send out ten or twenty resumes that the phone will start ringing. My recommendation, from experience, increase your numbers. Send out ten or more DAILY... in a week's time, that's 70 or more resumes. If you can boost your daily to 20, that's 140 potential employers. It's a numbers game... I have sent out over 1000 resumes for one particular job search, and I had plenty of responses (I was also hired). Keep the numbers up... you'll increase your odds for success.

Ask for feedback from potentail employers. Find out if you are able to be considered again and what can you do to meet their expectations. Consider visiting a local universitiy's career center.. usually a counselor is happy to give you tips. Also, career centers are great places to find entry level positions in many fields. Also, evaluate your interview skills. Practice with someone knowledgable, possibly a close friend that does interviewing and hiring. They may be able conduct a mock interview with you and give feedback.

Keep looking. And maybe brush up on your presentation skills and maybe create a new resume.
