This really depends on 4 things.
1) When you make your order
2) The work schedule of business you made the order from
3) The method you chose to deliver it.
4) The delivery companies delivery schedule
You make a order after 5 PM on a Friday from Widget Incorporated. Well it's too late for them to package a box and get it shipped out Friday. So they tell you it will ship in 1 business day. Well Widget Incorporated closes on Saturday and Sunday; so they aren't in business. Well you want it soon as possible so you think FedEx Next day should do. If you are lucky it gets packaged Friday or early Monday morning and sent out on FedEx Next day so you will receive it Tuesday.
So if Widget Incorporated stayed open for business on Saturday then your package would go out Saturday right? Well FedEx will charge you extra for a Saturday delivery. But you will not get it till Monday cause FedEx won't deliver Sunday. Then you have to know that UPS ships Saturday you still won't get it till Monday for the same reason. The USPS doesn't deliver on Sunday either.
Business days are the days that a is open for business. When deliveries are involved you have to keep in mind who is making the delivery and when they make deliveries.

A business day is considered every official working day of the week. Another common term is working day. Typically, these are the days between and including Monday to Friday and do not include public holidays and weekends.[1]
The definition of a business day varies by region. It depends on the local workweek which is dictated by local customs, religions, and business operations. For example, in the United States and much of the Western world, they are typically Monday to Friday. Within the EU the normal business days are Monday to Friday based on the working time regulation of the EU.
Business days are commonly used by couriers when determining the arrival date of a package. If courier ships a parcel on a Thursday that will be delivered in "two business days", it will arrive on the following Monday (if neither Friday nor Monday are a holiday).
In finance, how business days are defined are called "business day conventions" and determine how payments are settled on contracts such as interest rate swaps.

This does not relate to how long the business is open during the day. It means Monday through Friday, not including holidays.
So, if someone sends you something on Monday morning, it should arrive on Tuesday (one business day)
If they mail it on Friday, it should arrive on Monday (one business day, because Saturday and Sunday are not considered busiiness days).
If a holiday intervenes then that does not count either.

If you order it on Friday, one business day later is Monday, unless there's a holiday. And even then, unless you pay extra for "next day delivery," it may not come until Tuesday.
If you order it on Monday. don't expect it until Wednesday.

I think it means if will come in two days (not counting weekends). So if it is Monday today, after one business day would mean on Wednesday. If today is friday, it would come on Tuesday.
