How do you get crayon off of a cloth couch?!?

My youngest daughter wrote on a cloth couch with a green crayon, any suggestions on how to get it off without damaging the couch.

use a hair dryer and warm the crayon and then use a cloth to sponge it off. It may take awhile, but will come off eventually.
